Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Fairy Tale Ball?
A: My Fairy Tale Ball is a once in a lifetime event that focuses on touching the depths of a girl’s heart to feel beautiful, have purpose, and be loved. We help our Princesses discover that these are truly fulfilled in their identity in Christ, their true Prince. We share powerful Biblical truths with a creative flare, while the girls enjoy an enchanted and outrageously fun evening of dinner, dancing, photos, musical guests, and more. We feel as though God pours down His extravagant love for His daughters through this event and uses it to instill in them deep truths and lasting memories that will carry with them for many years to come.
Q: Who can attend the Fairy Tale Ball?
A: Teen girls ages 11-21. Though we have also had mom’s attend with daughters, girls group leaders bring their whole group, and an older sister or mentor share this with a teen. Anything outside of this you must request special permission from GL4G.
Q: I see some guys in the videos. Are boys allowed at the Ball?
A: As part of the Ball experience, we have a select number of young gentleman nominated as Princes. They have an important part to play as messengers of the King to His daughters. No other boys are allowed and no dates are needed for this amazing girls night out. If you want to inquire about nominating a Prince (13 yrs. old - into their 20's) contact GL4G at connect@GL4G.com
Q: Who hosts the Fairy Tale Ball?
A: Girls Living 4 God (GL4G.com), a nonprofit ministry leading this and future generations to a strong walk of faith in Jesus Christ.
Q: What do I wear to the Fairy Tale Ball?
A: This is the place where your tiara and glitter totally fit in! Essentially you can’t over do it at a Fairy Tale Ball. So wear whatever formal dress makes you feel beautiful and like a princess.
Q: Why is the Fairy Tale Ball not on a Friday or Saturday typically?
A: The Fairy Tale Ball is an extraordinary event that can cost $25,000 and up. To be able to make the Ball affordable to our royal guests and be able to work with our wonderful vendors, we typically host the Ball on a Sunday. Though you may be tired on Monday, believe us, you will be beaming from ear to ear and certainly won’t have any regrets!
Q: How long do I have to get my ticket?
A: We start selling Ball tickets usually 6 months to a year in advance to give you time to save and plan. Discounts are available for early purchases. We have limited seating so tickets do sell out and sales close a month before the Ball so we can mail out your Royal Invitation. So don’t wait!
Q: Can I get a Fairy Tale Ball invitation as a gift?
A: Yes, there will be no better gift for a teen girl than a ticket to a real Fairy Tale Ball. Contact Girls Living 4 God to inquire about purchasing a Fairy Tale Ball gift card at connect@GL4G.com
Q: What’s included in the ticket and how does this compare to a prom?
A: The Fairy Tale Ball has it all! Unlike prom, the Ball also includes a full dinner and dessert, all your professional event photos, a speaker with a powerful message, musical guest, filtered music for a great night of dancing, gifts and giveaways, and many surprises. Plus it is family friendly, has that magical touch, and is all about Jesus Christ!
Q: What if there are girls who can’t afford a ticket?
A: GL4G does a fundraising drive called Sponsor a Princess. We pray about groups of girls God puts in our path who may be considered underprivileged or from a life of brokenness that He wants us to bless by taking care of their ticket for the Ball. If you know girls God has put in your path that would be blessed by going to the Ball, we also encourage you to do the same. Share with people you know and gather resources so you too can make a difference in a young girl’s life.
Q: How do I Sponsor a Princess?
A: You can sponsor a Princess by going to our Sponsor page. All donations and sponsorships are tax deductible.
Q: Where does the Fairy Tale Ball take place?
A: Currently the Ball take place annually at Riverwood Mansion in Nashville, TN. We are praying and will be expanding the Fairy Tale Ball to other states as we have interest and people are ready to make it happen. Next stop is North Carolina for the Fairy Tale Ball. Praying to be there very soon!
Q: Can I volunteer to help with the Fairy Tale Ball and/or the Girls Living 4 God team?
A: We do have several volunteer spots the day of the Ball, but we do need help with preparation beforehand as well. We also have many ongoing ministry opportunities with Girls Living 4 God. Contact us at anytime by emailing us at connect@GL4G.com.
